About Juliana

Juliana is based in Chicago's Lincoln Park and brings a wealth of experience from top-tier design agencies across the Midwest & East coast. A Miami University graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design, she’s known for her conceptual and strategic approach to design, thriving in environments that prioritize process and collaboration. Juliana’s unique method blends innovation and design to both launch new brands and refresh existing ones.

Originally from Costa Rica, Juliana’s upbringing was shaped by a deep connection to sculpture and food science. Her early exposure to the consumer goods industry, including companies like Kellogg's and Nestlé, introduced her to “mystery food” — unbranded, top-secret products. Juliana would taste these products and imagine how they could be named, packaged, and marketed. This hands-on experience with sensory details sparked her passion for making products, companies, and designs better.

Her focus on the consumer experience is at the heart of everything she does, using design principles and psychology to create authentic, emotional connections. Juliana is a designer who deeply cares about how people interact with and perceive the work she creates.
